- Preparations for our first intake of visually impaired students in January are going really well. We are pioneers in secondary education of this kind and aim to consolidate the wonderful work of Buigiri Primary School, from which our students will come.
- The minibus, underwritten by donations, has transformed life for students and staff, making sports fixtures and educational trips so much easier. A recent visit was to the National Parliament in Dodoma and Ngorogoro Crater is on the cards.
- We now have fruitful links with the new St John's University in Dodoma, with four graduate trainee teachers at Mvumi and the school's first student admitted to St John's.
- A gift of electronic organs means our students' musical skills can be enhanced and a new teacher from England, Abi Elphinstone, will focus on arts and crafts development.
