Mvumi School Trust

A new era has begun at Mvumi with the appointment of a Tanzanian head of a Tanzanian school for Tanzanian children. Former Headmaster John Clark and the Trustees of Mvumi School Trust are delighted that Francis Malugu has accepted the post. Mr Malugu was Deputy Head of Mvumi Secondary School so knows its children, staff and requirements well. He is an experienced teacher and examiner, who has spent his working life in schools in the Diocese, and is a man to be respected.

Whilst taking on the mantel of headship Mr Malugu, supported by Mrs Julia Bengough, Sponsorship Co-ordinator, is currently also overseeing the school’s finances, pending the appointment of a full-time Bursar.

Francis Malugu looks forward to building on Mvumi’s now solid reputation as an academic institution of excellence and developing further the lives of young Tanzanians.
