DCT Mvumi Secondary School operates under the auspices of the Bishop Mdimi Mhogolo of the Diocese of Central Tanganyika.
We are delighted that the Bishop found time to meet friends of Mvumi during his recent visit to the United Kingdom. He was received by Tony Little, Chairman of the Trustees of Mvumi School Trust and Head Master of Eton College. The Bishop attended a reception for friends of Mvumi in the Charteris Room at Eton College and addressed the assembled teaching staff.
Sir Stuart Rose, Executive Chairman of Marks & Spencer and a Mvumi Trustee, invited Bishop Mdimi to lunch at Marks & Spencer headquarters in London. The Bishop presented Sir Stuart with a clock bearing a map of Tanzania as an expression of gratitude for Sir Stuart's generosity to DCT Mvumi Secondary School.
