Fund raising Information
In the past we have encouraged gap years students seeking experience at Mvumi to undertake some sponsored or fund raising activity to raise funds for Mvumi School Trust . We have found that our most successful volunteers are often those who have put considerable effort into their fund raising for the Trust prior to going to Mvumi. These volunteers seem to get more out of their experience at Mvumi and the Trust and School get more from them. With this in mind we ask applicants to make firm promise to undertake a sponsored event or other fund raising activity on behalf of the Trust.
“How much?“ you may ask. Some enterprising fund raisers have raised over ten thousand pounds. However a typical target for an individual gap year student is £2,000 and certainly not less than £1,000. In the space above please put what you are prepared to sign up for. It is not contractual but it will be looked upon as a firm promise. |
