There have been tremendously encouraging numbers of Forms I and IV applicants. Government permission lets us expand Form I intake to three classes, i.e. by 20 pupils. A fine intake was selected from over 450 children taking our entrance examination and we are sifting through 150 senior students for the 60 places available.
Recent Form VI leavers showed a very non-PC-incorrectness in having no girls but, pleasingly, there have been over 30 applications from girls. We are thinking seriously about expanding senior girls’ accommodation.

Thanks to the generosity of Dr Challoner’s School in Buckinghamshire, UK, we are really delighted that the School Shop is finished and are eagerly awaiting the girls’ visit in the summer. |

A new Alpha House annexe for Senior School entrants and new classrooms are in use. A flat for the Matron to oversee new Form V girls entering Harry Rose House, is nearly completed – and we hope passing her door will dampen any marauding boys’ passions!
We have plans for further buildings conversion including the school’s old kitchen, which will be transformed into a place for plays and concerts and more, much-needed space for boarders. It’s also hoped to expand staff accommodation. |

The boys of Caldicott Prep School and their families chose Burnham Beeches in Buckinghamshire for this year's sponsored walk. So far over £1,500 have been raised.
This will be sufficient to pay for the education of two students at DCT Mvumi Secondary School through Forms I to IV. The boys will correspond with two students who receive the bursary awards and follow their progress.
